I was born in South London in 1962 & like a lot of psychics I felt different from other people, I could not tell you why, I just knew I was different. I was very much a loner and preferred my own company.
When my Father gave me some pocket money to spend unlike other kids who would buy sweets or toys I would save the money up to buy statues of Buddha, Bibles and my favourite crucifixes (weird or what) I was not religious but felt some sort of connection to these images.
My Mother was Scottish and highly psychic as were many members of her family who displayed psychic or mediumistic abilities. It was through my Mothers interest in spiritualism and being taken along to demonstrations of mediumship and healing that I became aware of my own abilities, which at first I found very unnerving.
Objects would disappear and re-appear around me, I would wake up to find that things in my bedroom would be re-arranged in odd positions, spirit would show themselves to me and I found my psychic awareness so intense I just wanted to block it all out. I managed to do this for sometime until someone explained to me that what I was experiencing needed to be controlled and channelled.
It was at the age of seventeen that I joined a circle for developing mediumship at the (SAGB) Spiritualist Association of Great Britain and later the College of Psychic Studies. I learnt to switch my abilities on and off and was taught how to connect to spirit and pass on evidence of survival.
Later I went on to train with the (NFSH) National Federation of Spiritual Healers in Bromley, Kent which I loved. Every Thursday evening I would go along and work as a probationer (trainee healer) and offer healing to the general public along side other more experienced healers.
After completing my training I decided to explore other forms of healing such as Reiki and working with crystals. It was not long after this that one day spirit informed me it was time to leave my job working in the family business, which I had done for twenty years.
My journey this far has been very much guided by spirit and I now find myself living in the beautiful Somerset countryside, where I continue to give readings, healing as well as teaching workshops and courses.
